Manitowish Cranberry Co hires approximately 20 seasonal workers during our harvest season, mid-September to mid-October. Employment period is for the entire duration of harvest, which is usually four weeks. We value being team oriented, working together to make everyone’s job easier, and a positive attitude, especially in poor weather conditions.

Dump Truck Operators: Hauls fruit from the field to on-site processing facility. This person has equipment operation experience; however, no CDL is required.

Field Crew: Helps set up and move fruit harvesting equipment in the field. This person must be comfortable to work outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, etc.) and be on their feet all day. 

Equipment Operators: Operate 60-100 HP tractors to harvest the cranberries, corral the cranberries, and/or assist with both. This position requires equipment operating experience.

Forklift Operators: Efficiently and safely load semi trailers with 1,200 pound bins of cranberries. This position requires forklift or equipment operation experience.

Processing Plant Crew: Mechanically assemble wooden bins, fills bins, and/or assists in maintaining fruit cleaning line and quality control. This person must be able to be on their feet all day.
